Nevada guard Hallice Cooke, who transferred from Iowa State earlier this year, is ending his career due to a heart issue, he told Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Cooke will return to Iowa State, and has already taken a position with the school as a student volunteer assistant.
Cooke averaged 2.6 points in 10.9 minutes per game for the Cyclones last season. He began his career with Oregon State, where he averaged 8.2 points in 26.3 minutes per game as a freshman before he transferred.
