The road to a second consecutive Final Four got a little easier for Syracuse on Friday, as four-star forward Taurean Thompson committed to the Orange, his mother informed Mike Waters of Syracuse.com.
Thompson was the highest-rated recruit still available in the 2016 class. He received scholarship offers from numerous programs, including Michigan State and Seton Hall, before choosing to attend Syracuse.
ESPN has the 6-foot-9 Thompson pegged at No. 75 on the ESPN 100 for 2016.
