Iowa State G Hallice Cooke to transfer out of program
Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports
For the second time in his collegiate career Hallice Cooke is transferring, this time leaving the Iowa State program, the school announced Monday.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Cooke began his career at Oregon State where he posted impressive numbers of 8.2 points and 2.5 assists in his freshman year. Following that season he transferred to the Cyclones, where, after sitting out one season, barely saw the court in 2015-16.
The New Jersey native averaged just 10 minutes of action per game, scoring 2.6 points in that time, and has decided to leave the program. He will be forced to sit out another season with the transfer, before becoming eligible in 2017-18.
