LeBron James, J.J. Barea named NBA Players of the Week

LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and J.J. Barea of the Dallas Mavericks have been named Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively.

The Cavaliers went 3-1 over the week, with James leading the East in scoring during that span with 28 points her game. He finished just shy of averaging a triple-double with 10.7 assists (second in East) and 9.3 rebounds (ninth). He was held out on March 29 against the Houston Rockets so he could rest.

This is the fifth Player of the Week win this season for "The King," and the 53rd of his career, which is the most in NBA history.

With the Mavericks holding onto a playoff spot by the skin of their teeth, Barea came through when it mattered most to put up incredible numbers for his team during a perfect 4-0 run. His averages of 23.5 points and 6.8 assists each ranked sixth in the West.
