Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) doesn't appear close to making a return

Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) doesn't appear close to making a return, Nets Daily reports.

Analysis:

After undergoing surgery to repair a fractured right ankle in December, Hollis-Jefferson was given an eight-to-10-week recovery timetable that would have put him on course to return no later than right after the All-Star break. Unfortunately for the rookie, while it appears he's making progress, the team's initial timetable for his return was overly optimistic, as he's only recently stopped using a walking boot. Interim coach Tony Brown noted that he doesn't expect Hollis-Jefferson to play "anytime soon," suggesting we might not see the Nets' top defensive stopper back on the court until March.
