Report: Pelicans bring back Dejean-Jones
Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports
With Eric Gordon on the shelf for four-to-six weeks, the New Orleans Pelicans have signed guard Bryce Dejean-Jones from the D-League, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
They were already considering calling him up when word came that Quincy Pondexter is out for the season. Dejean-Jones was waived by the Pels out of training camp after signing a non-guaranteed deal last summer.
The 6-foot-6 23-year-old is averaging 19.2 points in nine games for the Idaho Stampede.
