Kevin Durant registered the 45th 40-point game of his career Tuesday as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the New York Knicks 128-122 at Madison Square Garden.

Durant scored a season-high 44 points to go with 14 rebounds and was 16-for-18 from the free-throw line as the Thunder came back from a fourth-quarter deficit, tying the game on a 13-foot Durant jumper with 16 seconds left in regulation.
