VIDEO: Frenetic finish to Pacers-Bulls OT classic
The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls have played three times this season, and they've all been pretty good games - especially Wednesday's tilt.
After the Bulls came back from a seven-point deficit late to force overtime, the Pacers trailed by three when Monta Ellis got a second chance to take the same trey.
The tip-toe act was reminiscent of Sean Elliott's 1999 "Memorial Day Miracle," but Ellis' shot caught the eye of the NBA Replay Center in Secaucus, N.J., who reviewed it and said it was good.
It wasn't over, however. On the ensuing possession, Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler caught the Pacers napping and did this.
Bulls 102, Pacers 100.
The Pacers had one last chance to tie it, but Paul George couldn't flush their own tip-in attempt as time wound down. However, replays showed he was fouled by Butler with no call. It's a play that will likely to come up in Thursday's "Last Two Minute Report."
