Report: Wizards reach agreement with Ryan Hollins
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports
With their frontcourt depleted and the losses piling up, the Washington Wizards have reached an agreement with free-agent center Ryan Hollins, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
The Wizards were reported to be interested in Hollins during the summer, before he signed with the Memphis Grizzlies - who eventually waived him.
The 31-year-old has posted career averages of roughly four points and two rebounds in nearly 12 minutes per game since being selected in the second round of the 2006 draft by the Charlotte Bobcats.
Hollins, a competent interior defender, could be of use to the Wizards with both Nene and Drew Gooden dealing with calf injuries at the moment.
Washington has lost four straight and seven of 10 since a 3-1 start.
