Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Thursday, November 19:
Value Rankings

Top Options
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| O.J. Mayo (MIL) | at CLE | 8 |
| Ben McLemore (SAC) | at MIA | 8 |
Mayo is expected to make his season debut Thursday. Though it may be tough to trust him in his first sample of live-game action, he'll need to do very little to return value on such a low price tag, and his upside is considerably higher. McLemore is barely above the minimum cost, making it easy for him to return value while in a starter's role.
Best of the Rest
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| J.R. Smith (CLE) | vs. MIL | 5 |
| Marco Belinelli (SAC) | at MIA | 5 |
Smith has made two 3-pointers in back-to-back games, recording as many as 15 points and nine rebounds. Belinelli has scored in double figures in three of his past five games, chipping in with small contributions in the rebound, assist and steal categories. The return of PG Darren Collison will cut into the minutes in the Kings' backcourt, but it doesn't take much for Belinelli to return value.
Nothing to See Here
| NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Klay Thompson (GS) | at LAC | 3 |
| Dwyane Wade (MIA) | vs. SAC | 2 |
Two of the most expensive shooting guards of the night should both be faded. Wade hasn't reached 20 points in four consecutive games, and he's only contributing slightly in the assist and rebound categories. Thompson is scoring six fewer points per game than he did last season, while his assist and steal averages are also down. He's not doing enough to justify his high cost.
