Pistons' Jennings progressing with workouts, prays for league-wide health
Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings participated in non-contact first-team drills Tuesday as he makes his way back from the ruptured left Achilles that ended his season in January.
The 26-year-old is not expected to play until around the holidays, and a point of interest will be how Jennings integrates into a Pistons lineup that acquired Reggie Jackson after he went down. On Tuesday, Jennings said that he's making progress, but still has one issue.
"The only problem I'm having with is when I'm pushing off," Jennings told The Detroit Free Press' Vince Ellis. "So say, if I'm dribbling ... this way, and I plant, that's the only problem I'm having."
The Los Angeles native then tweeted a prayer for general NBA health this season.
God all I ask is that everybody be healthy this year. So we can really see who the top 10 players in the league is. That's all ??
