VIDEO: Wizards' Porter goes behind his back, between defender's legs for and-1
The Washington Wizards expect big things from Otto Porter this season.
Following the departure of Paul Pierce, the Wizards will look to supercharge their offense by inserting Porter into the starting lineup to play both the wing and power forward. And while Porter isn't as good a spot-up shooter as Pierce, Washington hopes to make up the difference by playing up-tempo and unleashing the 6-foot-8 swingman in the transition game.
Ordinarily, the Wizards' fast breaks are headed up by John Wall, who picks out finishers like Porter streaking down the wing. But on Saturday, Porter showed off his ball-handling skills as he went around his back to elude Bauru Paschoalotto's Leonardo Meindl, then nutmegged Rafael Mineiro, before finishing the and-1.
Porter finished the game with 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting and was plus-22 in 22 minutes played.
