The Orlando Magic have announced that they have signed Canadian forward Melvin Ejim to a training camp deal.
The 24-year-old played with Virtus Roma of the Italian Serie A after going undrafted last season. He played four seasons at Iowa State and averaged 17.8 points and 8.4 rebounds as a senior in 2013-14.
Ejim turned heads while playing with the Magic at the 2015 Summer League. His performance likely earned him the deal, which came with an undisclosed amount of cash.
