Ty Lawson: Arrested For Suspicion Of DUI

Lawson was arrested Tuesday morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence, the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Lawson was arrested in January on the same allegation, and he pleaded guilty to underage drinking and driving back in 2008 when he was at North Carolina. The Nuggets didn't hide their displeasure with the January incident, which occurred less than 24 hours before the team had a game. Lawson has been the subject of frequent trade rumors, particularly since the Nuggets drafted Emmanuel Mudiay, but this latest incident could make it harder for the team to get a strong return. Once one or both of his cases is/are resolved, Lawson may draw a suspension from the NBA.
