Anthony Davis has been surpassed as the most lovable member of the New Orleans Pelicans family.
Fresh off of signing a record-setting five-year contract extension, Davis has added two new members to his entourage. Meet Meeko, Davis' pet marmoset, complete with a tiny little diaper and designated babysitter.

Along with being absolutely adorable, marmosets are incredibly active and inquisitive and likely require the attention of a human at most times (it's generally suggested they be housed with other marmosets, so maybe Davis needs a second). Growing up to eight inches long and one pound in weight, the New World monkey species can live up to 20 years, meaning Meeko could be a Pelicans fixture as long as Davis is.
The laws around keeping primates as pets vary by state, with some jurisdictions requiring a permit or outlawing them altogether. That means Meeko may not be on the road full-time, but if Davis ever needs a babysitter, he can inquire at theScore.
