The Washington Wizards are bringing back forward Drew Gooden, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. The reported deal is for one year and $3.3 million, according to NBA TV's David Aldridge.
Next season will be Gooden's 14th in NBA, and the Kansas product has been a valuable contributor for the Wiz the past two years. While his field-goal percentage plummeted below 40 percent in the regular season, he averaged 6.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in the playoffs - including uncharacteristic 46.2-percent shooting from deep.
In 13 seasons, Gooden has averaged 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
