The Brazilian Blur is back!
The Golden State Warriors and Leandro Barbosa have agreed to a one-year, $2.5-million deal, reports ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
The 32-year-old point guard became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2014-15 season, a campaign which saw him deliver on his promise of hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
In his first and only season with the Dubs, Barbosa averaged 7.1 points and 1.5 assists - modest numbers, though the 12-year pro's worth presented itself in veteran leadership and timely bursts of on-court production.
Barbosa earned a reputation for being one of the league's quickest guards (hence the nickname) during his first seven years in the NBA as a member of the up-tempo Phoenix Suns.
Now he's set to return to a Warriors roster that, to date, remains virtually intact as the club prepares to defend their first title in 40 years.
