Analysis:

Lalanne finished a solid but unspectacular collegiate career at UMass, posting averages of 11.6 points, 9.5 boards and 1.9 blocks as a senior. But he really opened the eyes of NBA scouts at the Portsmouth Invitational, averaging 12 rebounds per game and measuring with a massive 7-5 wingspan. A high-energy player, Lalanne could win a spot on a roster with his rebounding and defense, but seems likeliest to play this season in the D-League.
