McCullough was selected by the Nets with the 29th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Analysis:
McCullough's freshman campaign was abbreviated due to a torn ACL in his right knee, yet he still opted to join the professional ranks rather than return for a second season at Syracuse. Prior to the injury, he took part in 16 games, averaging 9.3 points (on 48 percent shooting), 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 assists in 28 minutes. Although he measures in at 6-foot-9, he's currently rail thin (199 pounds) and will require some time to develop his body to handle banging in the post. As a result, he may find minutes difficult to come by as a rookie.
