The NBA fined Stephen Curry $5,000 on Wednesday for an exaggerated fall in the fourth quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night.
Naturally, Curry hit a three-pointer on the play.
The flop occurred against the Houston Rockets' Terrence Jones on a 3-pointer that made the score 106-97 for the Warriors with 3:09 left in the game. Curry finished the 110-106 win with a game-high 34 points.
While $5,000 is a pretty paltry sum for a player like Curry, others are seeing a different side to the story:
Many will read this as NBA takes money from Riley Curry's father.
