The Chicago Bulls just can't stay healthy. Although this time, it's not the heaviest of blows, if that's any consolation.

Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich sustained a hyperextended knee during Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers and he will not return, reports Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago.

Hinrich has been a steady hand at the point for the Bulls this season, but when everyone is healthy, he's the third-string guard behind both Derrick Rose and Aaron Brooks.

On the year, Hinrich is averaging 5.8 points and 2.3 assists in 24.7 uninspiring minutes per game. He's a willing defender and provides depth at a shaky spot for Chicago.
