Brook Lopez is moving on up.
The Brooklyn Nets big man moved past Kerry Kittles into fifth on the franchise's all-time scoring list Monday, with 7,097 points. Up next: Jason Kidd, at 7,373 points.
Lopez was one of the few Nets to show up at work Monday night against the Boston Celtics, scoring 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting, adding four rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
The Nets lost 110-91, in a game that had major playoff implications. The Celtics, sitting in eighth place, are now 1.5 games up on Brooklyn in the Eastern Conference.
The Nets' home record dropped to 12-20 with the loss, and if they miss the playoffs, that'll be one of the main reasons why.
