The Atlanta Hawks's bench will be put to the test.
Backup forward Mike Scott has been diagnosed with a broken left big toe and there is no timetable for his return, reports Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Scott sustained the injury during the Hawks' loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and sat out against the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
Scott has been a key contributor for Atlanta this season. His jumpshot has been inconsistent at times, but on the whole, Scott has been effective, averaging 7.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.
The Hawks will lean on its bench rotation of Pero Antic, Mike Muscala and Elton Brand to make up for Scott's absence.
