Steph Curry's All-Star Weekend has gotten off to an inauspicious start.
Not only did Curry drop Saturday's shot-for-shot competition at practice to John Wall, but Curry's having serious footwear issues ahead of Saturday night's Three-Point Shootout.
Curry had two pairs of All-Star edition shoes stolen in transit, according to a report from NiceKicks.com. Curry had two special pairs of his Under Armour Curry One ready for the weekend - a Candy Reign colorway and a Father to Son colorway to honor his connection with father Dell Curry, who he'll compete alongside in the Shooting Stars competition.
Under Armour had shipped out the shoes normally, but they went missing. Luckily, NiceKicks.com reports that replacement pairs are expected to arrive in time. That's a positive, because they're both a really fun look.

Curry also plans to use his footwear to honor the life of Deah Shaddy Barakat by writing his name on his shoes for the Three-Point Shootout. Barakat, a Curry fan, was killed in a triple homicide in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Tuesday.
"Even though we never met, I think it will hopefully mean a lot to his family and friends that knew what kind of a basketball fan he was to have some kind of peace knowing that people are thinking about him and they're not alone," Curry said, according to Diamond Leung of the San Jose Mercury News.
The 23-year-old Bakarat was such a huge Curry fan that even his wedding photos had a nod to the Golden State Warriors guard, and he referred to himself in his Twitter bio as an "Aspiring Splash Brother."
