Karl Malone: Kobe has a 'standing' offer to 'knuckle up' with me

With the All-Star Game this weekend, NBA legends are trickling into New York ahead of the festivities. On Wednesday, Karl Malone - the greatest power forward of all time - was on a media blitz of sorts, echoing Charles Barkley's disdain for analytics and offering advice for DeMarcus Cousins, as reported by Adam Figman of Slam magazine.

More salaciously however, he also sat down with Marc Lamont Hill of the Huffington Post and discussed his relationship with Kobe Bryant, 12 years after a well-chronicled beef developed between them.

For a refresher: in November 2003, during his final NBA season and lone one with the Los Angeles Lakers, Malone apparently made an unusual (re: creepy) comment to Bryant's wife Vanessa. While things aren't tense between the two now, they're not cool either.

According to Malone, there's still a "standing" offer to "knuckle up."
