Brandon Jennings: Leaves Saturday's Game With Leg Injury
Jennings left Saturday's game with a left leg injury, the Pistons' official site reports. The point guard had 16 points (6-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with four assists in 26 minutes before leaving. After the game, it was said that Jennings will be out for the foreseeable future.
Analysis:
Jennings was writhing in pain and didn't put weight on the injury as leaving the floor. If Jennings has to miss any time, D.J. Augustin should step into the starting lineup and have great value, while Spencer Dinwiddie should also start to see more minutes. There's even an outside chance that Dinwiddie could start and Augustin would simply get more minutes and continue to come off the bench. The Pistons play Sunday. It seems highly unlikely that Jennings will be ready to play.
