It's no secret that LeBron James has diverse business interests outside basketball - and it appears the multimillionaire plans on getting into a new game.

A game show, that is.

James's production company, through which he helped make the autobiographic documentary "More Than a Game",  has partnered with NBC to create a prime-time TV game show.

From what James told ESPN Wednesday, it sounds like a pay-it-forward kind of deal.

"It gives people here an opportunity to live out a dream, the things they only dreamed about, and that's to make more money than they ever thought they could make in their lives," James said.

James has requested the show do its first casting in the Cleveland and Akron areas. The producer on the project is Andrew Glassman of "Average Joe" and "Three Wishes" fame. The game show is expected to have payouts that could be worth as much as seven figures.
