The Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat game Tuesday was delayed in the first quarter due to a water leak in the Barclays Center ceiling that was dripping down to the court.
The Barclays Center's official Twitter account said the delay was caused by a water leak due to the installation of the arena's new green roof, and that all necessary steps to rectify the situation were taken.
Miami had a 24-21 lead with a 1:47 remaining in the quarter at the time of the delay before play resumed after a 31-minute break.
