Kevin Durant: (Foot) Expected To Return Tuesday

Durant (foot) is expected to make his season debut Tuesday against the Pelicans, ESPN reports.

Analysis:

As long as Durant goes through shootaround without any issues, he's expected to play Tuesday. The report also revealed that the doctors working with Durant told the Thunder that there's only a five percent chance he'll re-injure the foot. That's great news for Durant owners, and it improves his trade value by improving the perception of his health going forward. The Thunder could make an official announcement after shootaround or wait and announce Durant's status until just before game time.
