Sebastian Telfair is set to resume his basketball career in another country.

Telfair is nearing a deal with a team in China, reports ESPN's Marc Stein, less than a week after he was released by the Oklahoma City Thunder. No contract details were announced, but Telfair will head back to China after playing the 2013-14 season with the TianJin Steel.

The 29-year-old reportedly rejected a two-year deal from a team in the Chinese Basketball Association to sign with the Thunder in July.

Telfair played in 16 games for Oklahoma City, averaging 8.4 points and 2.8 assists in 20.4 minutes. He has bounced around the NBA, playing parts of 10 seasons for eight different teams.
