VIDEO: Mavericks score 7 points in 5.9 seconds, rout Lakers

Friday's game between the NBA's best offensive team and the league's worst defensive team went exactly as expected, with the Dallas Mavericks pounding the Los Angeles Lakers, 140-106.
The Mavs shot better than 62 percent from the field and 51 percent from three-point territory in the rout, which included this improbable sequence to end the first quarter.
If only there were a few seconds remaining in the quarter to give Dallas a chance to match Reggie Miller's efforts.
