On Monday, the Utah Jazz signed five-year-old JP Gibson to a one-day contract. Later that night, Gibson was in uniform for the Jazz for their open scrimmage at EnergySolutions Arena.
Gibson, who has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, was joined by his parents and two-year-old sister. They were hosted by the Jazz and the Anything Can Be project, with photographer Jon Diaz on hand to capture the event for part of his inspirational storybook series.

Gibson wore jersey No. 1 and took the floor during the action, receiving an inbound pass from Jeremy Evans before splitting some Jazz defense in the pick-and-roll. He then drove the lane for a pretty cool dunk, getting some dap for his effort.
