Ross (knee) sat out Monday's practice after bruising his knee during Sunday's preseason contest, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
Analysis:
Ross sustained the bruise during a collision Sunday night and left the game after scoring 11 points in 25 minutes. He underwent a precautionary MRI on Monday morning but is not expected to miss an extended period of time.
