The Michael Beasley era appears to have ended in Miami .. again.
Beasley is still on the free-agent market, but without formerly cutting ties, the Heat have made their intentions known by issuing jersey No. 8 to newcomer Shawne Williams.
Miami could retain the seven-year man, but the administrative work indicates that Beasley will be looking for employment elsewhere.
The K-State product averaged career-lows in points (7.9) and rebounds (3.1) in sparing minutes for the Eastern Conference champions last season.
