The final roster for Team USA was announced late Friday night, with the members set to represent the United States at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.
The 12-man roster will be comprised of:

Anthony Davis (PF, New Orleans Pelicans)
DeMar DeRozan (SG, Toronto Raptors)
Andre Drummond (C, Detroit Pistons)
Kenneth Faried (PF, Denver Nuggets)
Rudy Gay (SF, Sacramento Kings)
James Harden (SG, Houston Rockets)
Kyrie Irving (PG, Cleveland Cavaliers)
Mason Plumlee (PF, Brooklyn Nets)
Derrick Rose (PG, Chicago Bulls)
Klay Thompson (SG, Golden State Warriors)
"Since taking over the USA Basketball Men's National Team program in 2005, this was without doubt the most difficult selection process we've gone through," said the team's managing director Jerry Colangelo in a statement.
"I can't stress enough the outstanding effort and commitment that has been given by each finalist. I also want to make it clear that this is not just about talent -- each player is incredibly talented and each player offered us unique skills. In the end it was about assembling the best team, selecting guys who we felt would be able to best play the kind of style we envision this team playing."
Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Chandler Parsons (Dallas Mavericks), Kyle Korver (Atlanta Hawks), and Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz) were the last four players cut on Friday night, following the team's 112-86 exhibition win over Puerto Rico.
"I'm excited about the 12 players selected and feel we have excellent versatility and the makings of a really good defensive team," added Colangelo.
Team USA will begin the 2014 World Cup on August 30 against Finland.
