Contract negotiations between the Phoenix Suns and restricted free agent Eric Bledsoe have reportedly taken a turn for the worse.
Citing an anonymous source with knowledge of the situation, Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com reports that an "ominous development" has arisen, with the two sides still "very far apart" in their negotiations.
Haynes adds that things have escalated between Bledsoe and the Suns to the point where the source says their relationship "is on the express lane to being ruined."
Bledsoe reportedly turned down a four-year, $48-million proposal from the Suns, and is believed to be seeking a max deal worth $80 million.
