San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Manu Ginobili has a stress fracture in his right leg and is unlikely to represent Argentina in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain this summer, according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
In his exit physical with the Spurs, the early stages of a stress fracture was discovered in Ginobili's right leg. The injury is believed to have developed late in the postseason.
According to Wojnarowski, GInobili will seek a second medical opinion before proceeding.
Essentially, Manu seems to indicate he wants to wait 3 or 4 weeks to let his injury heal before making decision on FIBA World Cup.

The recovery time for the injury is expected to be around two months, which would give Ginobili enough time to recover by the start of training camp in late September.
Ginobili averaged 12.3 points and 4.3 assists this past season.
