Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko has decided to opt into the final year of his contract, which will pay him $4.5 million next season.
Jerebko confirmed the news to Borås Tidning (translation via Pro Basketball Talk):
"I've already made my decision. I have a year left in Detroit, and I drive on," Jerebko said. "...I feel I can be much better than what I got the chance to show this past season."
The 27-year-old appeared in 64 games for the Pistons this season, averaging 4.2 points in 11.6 minutes.
