The Denver Nuggets will reportedly enter the 2014-15 season without a healthy J.J. Hickson, who suffered a right knee ACL tear against the Dallas Mavericks in March.

It's not much of a surprise given the required recovery time for such a injury, but the news marks yet another bump in Hickson's NBA career.
He's played for four different franchises throughout six seasons, his playoff experience is limited to a minor role during the Cleveland Cavaliers' run to the second round in 2009-10, and before Hickson tore his ACL, head coach Brian Shaw had moved him to a bench role with the intention of making him earn his starting spot back.
