Look, we get it. You come here for sports news, not movie pitches. But bear with us here.
We know that Ray Allen and Spike Lee have at least discussed the possibility of a 'He Got Game' sequel in the past. So fast forward 16 years, and Jesus Shuttlesworth is now nearing the end of his career.
After heading to Big State, Shuttlesworth decided to head to the NBA as a one-and-done and has enjoyed a 15-year career that includes multiple scoring titles, All-Star appearances and even a pair of championships. As a 34-year-old free agent, however, Shuttlesworth is faced with a gruelling rehabilitation for yet another knee injury and must decide on whether to hang them up or not.
All the while, Shuttlesworth's estranged teenage son, played by Solomon Glave (there's a pretty good resemblance), is trying to decide where he'll play his college ball, too, and wants his father's input.
So, Spike, Ray, Denzel, your thoughts?

Yeah, you're right. We should stick to covering the news. Anyway, enjoy the game.
