Stephon Marbury granted 'honorary citizenship of Beijing'
In case you weren't aware, 37-year-old Stephon Marbury is kind of a big deal over in the Chinese Basketball Association.
"Starbury" just won his second title in three years with the Beijing Ducks, and judging from the picture below, he's loving the sport more than ever.

As a result of his success, Tuesday saw Marbury granted "honorary citizenship of Beijing" from the city's mayor Wang Anshun. The award, which has only been given to 30 people, recognizes "the contributions of foreigners, overseas Chinese, and people from Hong Kong and Macao towards the development of the capital city."
Anshun likely chose to ignore the fact that Marbury punched an opponent back in February.
