LeBron James has a broken nose, game-time decision Sunday
Either LeBron James is human, after all, or the scientists who created him did so with a faulty skeletal structure.
Yes, James is actually hurt. And not, "this is kind of sore I'm going to rest it" hurt. Real, human being hurt. X-rays have revealed that James does, in fact, have a broken nose, as many expected after he took a Flair chop to the face on Thursday night.
As such, James is considered a game-time decision for the Miami Heat's Sunday game against the Chicago Bulls.
A relative ironman throughout his career, James has missed just a single game this season and only 40 of a possible 857 in his career, not to mention the 138 playoff games. He does have experience playing through a face injury, however, and we're all hopeful we see a return of this look:

Should James miss Sunday's game, Ray Allen could draw the start, but so could Rashard Lewis or Michael Beasley or anyone, really. Miami has primarily used the same starting five but when someone is absent, it hasn't been shy about trying new looks, as 13 players in total have started at least one game.
Obviously, James' absence would hang over the team in a major way - he's averaging 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists and is firmly in the Most Valuable Player discussion for the infinity consecutive year.
