The NBA will fine Nets coach Jason Kidd $50,000 for his stunt with the dropped cup in loss to Lakers, league sources tell Yahoo.

The NBA confirmed the fine shortly after Wojnarowski's report.
Kidd might not have any coaching experience, but surely he had to know he wouldn't get away without some kind of penalty.
