Michigan's Tommy Carr: Tough outing in loss

Rotowire• ·

Carr was 20-for-32 passing for 167 yards and one interception during Saturday's 13-6 overtime loss to Indiana. He also had 15 rushes for six yards.

Analysis:

Carr made his first career start against the reigning national champions and had a tough day, throwing for just 167 yards to go along with an interception and a lost fumble. The 6-foot-4 freshman got the start in place of Bryce Underwood, who was benched for Carr in Michigan's previous game against Penn State. It is thus far unclear whether Carr will continue in the starting role moving forward, with his next opportunity coming against Rutgers on Saturday.
