Weaver (undisclosed) did not play during Saturday's game at UTEP, according to Haddy Barghouti of The Mercury News.
Analysis:Daniel Rolovich started under center for San Jose State, and it seems like that will continue even when Weaver returns from injury, according to Niles Hall of The Spear. Perhaps the QB1 situation will be much clearer next week, when the Spartans continue their schedule Oct. 24 at Nevada.
