The Boston Celtics have downgraded star Jayson Tatum to questionable for Saturday night's Game 7 matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers due to left knee stiffness, the team announced.
Tatum briefly exited Boston's 106-93 Game 6 loss with a leg injury after playing 28 minutes of action. Tatum told teammates after the contest that he was fine and would be good to go for Game 7, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The 28-year-old also told reporters postgame that he wasn't concerned about the injury, according to Celtics reporter for CLNS Media Bobby Manning. Notably, the issue is in the leg opposite to the one in which he tore his Achilles tendon last May.
Tatum is averaging 23.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in 36.3 minutes per game through six contests in the series.
