Kleber makes Lakers debut in Game 5
Maxi Kleber made his Los Angeles Lakers debut in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He checked into the game at the 2:48 mark of the first quarter.
Kleber last stepped on an NBA floor Jan. 25. He underwent surgery to repair a broken right foot at the end of January.
The 6-foot-10 forward was acquired from the Dallas Mavericks as part of the Luka Doncic trade.
Kleber has averaged 6.4 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 34.3% from three in 440 career games - all as a Maverick. He started three of Dallas' five Finals games against the Boston Celtics last season.
The Lakers are trying to stave off elimination as they trail the T-Wolves 3-1 in their first-round series.
L.A. has struggled with its depth against the Timberwolves, as only seven players are averaging more than 10 minutes per game this postseason.
