Nuggets' Westbrook misses Game 4 win due to foot inflammation
Denver Nuggets veteran Russell Westbrook missed Saturday's 101-99 Game 4 win over the Los Angeles Clippers due to left foot inflammation.
Westbrook exited Game 3 with the injury after posting three points in nine minutes of action. The Nuggets lost the contest 117-83, falling behind L.A. 2-1 in the first-round series.
The 36-year-old shined in Denver's Game 1 win with a 15-point performance and a clutch steal in overtime.
The Nuggets went 7-0 without Westbrook in the lineup through the regular season. The nine-time All-Star averaged 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in 2024-25.
Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr., who was listed as questionable with a left shoulder sprain, was available for Game 4.
The series is now tied 2-2. Game 5 will be Tuesday.
