Dallas Mavericks forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper suffered ligament damage in his right wrist and is expected to require season-ending surgery, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
He joins a loaded Mavs injury report, which includes Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, P.J. Washington, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively II, Jaden Hardy, and Kai Jones.
Dallas ruled Irving out for the remainder of the campaign earlier this week due to a torn ACL in his left knee. Davis suffered an adductor strain in his only appearance for the Mavs since being acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers in the blockbuster trade for Luka Doncic at the beginning of February.
The Mavs' injuries had pushed Prosper into a more prominent role over the last month, as the 22-year-old averaged 5.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 18 minutes per game since Davis got hurt.
Prosper posted 3.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game across 52 contests this season.
Dallas is in the midst of a three-game losing streak but will get some reinforcements Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Dante Exum is returning from a one-game absence while Caleb Martin will make his Mavs debut after being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in early February.
The Mavs sit 10th in the West at 32-31.
