The Atlanta Hawks have caught the injury bug early.
The Hawks announced Tuesday that wing Bogdan Bogdanovic underwent a non-surgical procedure Monday and will be re-evaluated in about four weeks.
Bogdanovic missed the last three contests due to hamstring tendinopathy. He recorded eight points in 28 minutes in Atlanta's season-opening contest against the Brooklyn Nets.
The 30-year-old averaged 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals last season.
The Hawks are also losing guards Dyson Daniels and Vit Krejci after the tandem played in Monday's defeat versus the Washington Wizards. Daniels will miss Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to a hip flexor strain and is considered day-to-day. Krejci will miss at least two weeks with an adductor strain.
Daniels is averaging 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in a starting role for Atlanta this season. Krejci is playing 14 minutes per game for the Hawks, averaging 4.5 points off the bench.
Kobe Bufkin will also be re-evaluated in four weeks after suffering a partial shoulder dislocation during a preseason practice. The Hawks drafted the former Michigan guard with the No. 15 pick in 2023. Bufkin averaged 4.8 points last campaign.
The Hawks are 2-2 on the season.
